Drama For Your Mama!!

Whew! So much to write, so little time. I'm just gonna try to sum everything up so I don't bore you to death. We left off at Nascar. Nascar actually went well. I had a great time and got lots of free stuff! I'm still trying to figure out what the heck I'm gonna do with 300 packs of tums, but I'm sure it will come to me. The weather was great and I ended up getting tickets to the race only to give them away because I was too tired to go. That's too bad because I really wanted to see Danica Patrick (www.danicaracing.com ) because she rocks! Hey, there is always next time, my sleep is precious. After Nascar, Rockfest came up a little too soon for my liking. That was definitely one gig I will never forget. Rockfest was rather disappointing this year and definitely not as good as last year. Although, there were definitely a few bands that brought it! I personally liked 3 Doors Down (www.3doorsdown.com) and Limpbizkit (www.limpbizkit.com). I'm sure there were other great performances but of course I was there working and not for the concert. I did meet a few great people. Now for the drama. Of course I won't get into details but we're just gonna say that we had an interesting combination of models this time around with a manager that had questionable "techniques". As always, it was a learning experience and whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger right??! After everything I have been through this year, I should be able to beat Hercules in a one on one battle. Seriously!!

Now, I never talk about my personal life but I'm just going to say a few brief things. It never fails to amaze me the fact that men seem to just want you so much when either you don't want them anymore or you're with someone else. I don't understand why its just not done right the first time. I can't speak for all the other women out there but for me, if you catch me when all the feelings have run dry, its definitely too late. I'm not really into rebounding. Okay, starting to ramble. Now you see why I don't really talk about my personal life??!

So what's next in the life of Erica Nicole? Well, this week you can find me at Country Thunder. I have a feeling this should be pretty smooth. I hope.. Oh yea, my high school reunion is next saturday. Mmm, I really don't have a clue as to how this one is going down! It's really only few people that I would like to see again and to the others, just trying to be a tad nosy. I may not have much to talk of the reunion now, but I'm sure I will have loads to discuss afterwards! Just a few days afterwards I'm flying out to South Dakota to work Sturgis. I may just have to bring the video camera with me to that one. Nine days in a house with 7 other models!? This is definitely documentary material and I hope to gain the permission of the other ladies to do so. Filming for "Butt America" is set to start next week. I'm sooo excited about it. If you haven't done so already make sure you subscribe to my youtube page. (www.youtube.com/theericanicole) Tune in next week folks!

Ready, Set, Gooo!!

Whoa! I have definitely been on some kind of roller coaster and the ride still isn't over folks. Let's see, where did I leave off? Well, I have been a busy busy gal. I had an interesting time being a last minute model manager at Country Fest in Cadott. No details will be provided but I'm sure you can imagine how dealing with 7 other models with different models and egos turned out :-) Buy hey, I'm a professional, that's why I get paid and booked to do what I do best. On the other hand, the fest itself was pretty awesome. Now, I must admit that I don't listen to country music on a regular basis, but I do enjoy it when I hear it. There were great perfomances out there by Tim Mcgraw (http://www.timmcgraw.com/), Reba Mcentire (http://www.reba.com/), and Toby Keith (http://www.tobykeith.com/). Oh wait, I forgot, Darius Rucker (http://www.dariusrucker.com/) did it up as well. I didn't even know black people sang country! Well, I definitely learned something new and hope to see some of those faces at Country Thunder in two weeks. This past fourth of July weekend was pretty relaxing. I had a few bumps to work out in the beginning but overall it was a pretty good weekend. I went to t o the taste (http://www.tasteofchicago.com/) along with my roaddog Hollywood on 07/01/10 to go check out the food and Trey Songz.(http://www.treysongz.com/) . However, the Trey Songz part did not go as planned. We were actually supposed to be backstage and get a chance to talk and interview him but fake perpetrators ruined that. We were completely sent off! Hey, it happens to the best of us. At least I got out of the crowd of crazed Trey Songz fans before I was trampled or stabbed! Yes, I said stabbed! Allegedly someone was stabbed at the Taste this year. Why can't people eat in peace? Geesh!

I found a new chill out spot. Who would have known that it goes down at the harbor on 59th off the lakefront. Music, drinks, and a nice chilled atmosphere amongst the boats and the ballers :-) I definitely have to re-visit that spot. Hopefully, I will learn to swim pretty quickly so that I can go water skiing! Until then, no water sports para mi!!

This week, Nascar is where I will be. Hopefully the weather is obedient and we have a great turnout! It wouldn't hurt for me to meet a nice looking race car driver while I'm there... :-) Definitely be on the look out for my upcoming documentary "Butt America". Overview

Soo, everything went fairly well last week. Pridefest was tons of fun and of course extremely interesting. As previously stated on a Facebook post, some of the gay men had better runway struts than me!! Lessons please? And the compliment, so very nice. My models did rock! Well, most of the them, and the weather was decent. Moving along, to the Trina afterparty at Alahambra Palace. It was a very nice turnout. We arrived around 11:30pm and got right to work starting with a filmed intro outide of the club/restaurant. Channel T.E.N and BPTV (http://www.youbepictured.com/) were definitely greeted with open arms and given lots of love. The opening acts were not too shabby. There were performances by Charm, Hot2Def, 4am, Kenyon Martin, Lee England Jr (http://www.leeenglandjr.com/) and Nikki Lynette. This event was hosted by chicago comedian Leon Rogers and Mustafa Rocks and Sean Mac were the DJ delight. And of course Trina herself (http://www.trinafan.com/) represented. She was glamorous in all silver with a matching blinged out microphone and donned a rockstar long ponytail. The crowd was already hyped by the wonderful opening acts and were ready with camera phones in hand for the baddest chick to grace the stage. Trina did a little bit of her new stuff from her senior album "Amazing" and of course took us back to some of her old hits. The event was pretty good and I had the pleasure of interviewing Chicago Larry, Montez with Tez Management, E-Dub with Streetfame Entertainment (http://www.myspace.comiseve30/, and hip hop violinist Lee England Jr. Footage will be available shortly at http://www.youbepictured.com/. Unfortunately, due to a delay in the start of the performances I was unable to catch up with the baddest chick herself, but we definitely will be bumping heads in the future. Whats next on Ms. Erica Nicole's calender? Well, this week its Country Fest and next week possibly Tierra Mari concert/afterparty and all white party with Chicago Scene. Oh, I almost forgot, Trey Songz 07/01/10 at the Taste of Chicago. Still working on getting that interview. More to come..

And the Saga continues...

Let's see where I left off.. Oh yea, left town this weekend for a booking in Milwaukee at Pridefest. Muy interesante! To say the least. I had a blast. I managed a great group of models and I received glorious compliments from gay men and was hit on a few times by a few gay women. It was definitely memorable. But I am sad I missed the blues festival in Chicago. Well, kinda, it was rainy and probably wasn't much fun but I love live music. Now back to business. This week is my big move. I'm finally giving up my townhouse and temporarily moving into a unit in a property I own. Whew! It is a lot of work and I need a lot of help but I should be fine. Other updates include the "Who Wants to Date Erica Nicole" tapings coming up and I finally released a little intro to a documentary I'm filming called "Butt America". Check it out www.youtube.com/theericanicole. Yes, "butt" spelled with two t's so you can only imagine what the content is about :-) I promise you will love it!

Up for this week, mmm, let's see, there's Trina (rapper) album release party http://www.trinatickets.com/ tomorrow night at Chicago hotspot Alahambra palace and a small booking downtown Chicago this weekend. Hopefully everything goes well and I get a chance to interview the baddest chick along with the some of the other opening acts including hip hop violinist Lee England Jr. http://www.leeenglandjr.com/. I will be working in conjunction with http://www.youbepictured.com/ for channel T.E.N After this week, its just gonna get crazy folks. My new business cards finally made they're way to me and my website should be launching any day now. I'm sooo excited. Oh yea, just in, ya girl may be at the B.E.T awards. This is not confirmed but I should know something soon. I will be out of town crazy for the next 6 weeks and who knows after that. Despite that, I still have to make the time to tend to my other networking tools like facebook. I have like 300 friend requests waiting??!! What is going on? Is this called "Facebook Famous". Wow! LOL Well definitely stay tuned because I'm sure I'm going to have a lot to say about this possibly stressful weekend and add some fun photos. Where the Lakers fans?!!! Peace..

Summer Madness

It's mid year already??! Really? I am going full throttle right about now. I honestly don't know how I do it sometimes. Let's see, through the grace of God, I still have my 9-5pm with Corporate America and manage to work my modeling and all that other extra stuff full time too. I swear that I know its supposed to be 24hrs in a day, but I think I got snuck a few extra hours. It's not even possible to fit everything I do in otherwise. Well, this week is going to be pretty busy. I'm midway through the work week and I already feel a panic attack coming on thinking about how the heck I'm going to make it through the week! Let's see, on the menu this week.. Pick up tickets for Trina's album release party next thursday, meet up with some prospective clients wednesday night, and head out for an out of town booking I'm managing.. And much more, I just don't feel like typing it all. I'm supposed to start taping for the "Who wants to Date Erica Nicole" this week but it may be postponed again. I need to get things together for my website so it can be live really soon and start my radio show. Soo much to do so little time.. Not even gonna mention men this post. Maybe next week folks :-)
